Bills GM Ryan Tannehill not expected to be traded before end of week

Ryan Tanneshill was the only Bills player who made the cut for the 2016 NFL draft, but there is no indication he’ll be leaving the team this offseason.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tanneill will not be traded this offseason, and the team will not consider any trade partners before the trade deadline.

The Bills will also not trade defensive end Chandler Jones.

A trade for Tanneills services is unlikely.

The Buffalo Bills have been rumored to be interested in the Philadelphia Eagles defensive end, but the Bills are not interested in moving him this offseason as long as the Eagles are in the AFC East.

Jones was released from his contract in March.

Jones had been one of the NFL’s most productive pass-rushers for the Eagles this past season, but he struggled to find consistency in the second half of the season.

Jones will be 32 years old when the Bills cut him this week.

He will turn 33 in December.

The Philadelphia Eagles have the seventh pick in the draft and they have been linked to wide receiver Percy Harvin.

Harvin has been linked as a possible trade target for the Bills this offseason but they are unlikely to make a deal with the Eagles.

The Eagles are set to begin their offseason program on Wednesday, which could see them trade away two of their best players.

The Eagles have been looking for a veteran presence in their secondary this offseason and could be looking to upgrade at safety with their first-round pick.

The second-round selection in the 2018 NFL draft is also a top-10 pick in 2019.

The third-round selections in 2019, 2020 and 2021 are also on the board and the Bills could use a safety.

The Jets are one of three teams that could be interested and they also have interest in the Eagles’ safety, according to Schefter.

The Jets could look to trade away a player like cornerback Darrelle Revis, who is 31 and has been out of football for the past two seasons.

Jets general manager John Idzik also has been rumored as a trade partner for the Buffalo Bills, but it’s unclear if that is the case.

The former Eagles coach is known for his offensive style of play and his team has struggled in recent years.
